9. WILLIAM WALTER JARDINE was born on 21 Jan 1915 in Whitehead, County Antrim and grew up in Cape Town, South Africa. He was a repertory actor, emigrating to England in 1935. He served in the Royal Signals and was a clerical worker and civil servant after WWII. He emigrated to Australia in 1981 and died on 12 Apr 1990 in Campbelltown, NSW, Australia.

He was married to GLADYS GEORGINA BISCOE (daughter of WILLIAM JAMES BISCOE and ELIZABETH KINCHIN) in Brighton, Sussex. GLADYS GEORGINA BISCOE was born on 2 Feb 1920 in Lindfield, Sussex. She died on 28 Mar 1991 in Caterham, Surrey.
